Plan and section organization has been conceived to optimise building and laboratory servicing, student, researcher and academic use, permeability and comfort of the public realm and connectivity to adjacent sites. Building structure and servicing strategies have been tested to verify the plan and volumetric strategies.
The scheme proposes a reorganisation of the arrangement of spaces from the brief to compress the scheme volumetrically on the site.
